VW Historic Renovation

This 1917 historic home is located in the Meridian Street Historic District in Indianapolis Indiana. The corridor is lined with many pre-war grand homes and is considered one of the ‘Great Streets’ in America. When my client purchased the home it had been vacant for 5-years and was is disrepair. A comprehensive renovation of the home was completed that included cleaning the brick, resetting the tile roof, restoration of the wood windows, re-opening the front porch, new mechanical/plumbing/electrical, new kitchen/keeping room, insulation, structural repairs and landscaping. The renovation plan submitted to the Meridian Street Preservation commission was quickly approved and described as thoughtful and comprehensive.
